March 19 - Tsunami Fundraising
» Sacramento Valley Hi-Lions Club is one of the Fil-Am community organizations, and they are presenting a show in support for the visually impaired and the Tsunami Victims of Southern Asia.
VENUE: Mesa Verde High School Performing Arts Auditorium
WHERE: 7501 Carriage Drive, Citrus Heights CA
DATE: Saturday, March 19, 2005 - 6pm
DONATION: $30
* Proceeds go to the Tsunami victims and visually impaired

July 15 - Popularity Contest

» Mrs./Ms. Ilocandia 2005 Popularity Contest Sponsored by the Ilocanos of America at the Jose Rizal Community Center, 7320 Florin Mall, Sacramento CA.
Canvassing for the said event is being spearheaded by the Sacramento Pacific Rim and Vicinity Organization. Proceeds for the fundraising will benefit the Philippine Community Center Building Fund.
1st Canvassing: Fri., July 15, 2005 - 6pm
2nd Canvassing & Last Countng: Sat., September 10, 2005 - 6:30 pm
RAFFLE: 1st Prize $300; 2nd Prize $200;

 June 5 - Philippine Fiesta Parade
» The parade is on June 5, 2005 and will start at 10:00 a.m on Sunday, and will travel the traditional route, starting at the Rizal Community Center, Sacramento. The Parade Committee, chaired by Rosemarie Reposar, looks forward to an excellent parade this year with participants from 19 Filipino Organizations. We expect this year’s event to include exciting shows, great music, lots of food and many more... Spectators should come prepared to see a parade like no other they have seen in Sacramento.
» VMPBGA announces that it needs 26 Lady participants to proudly wear costumes representing our native land.
